About Us

Heather Cokendolpher

Heather, a registered nurse, credits the care and love of her grandparents Olan and Birdie Pafford as inspiration for her career of caring for seniors. Heather realized that many of her patients could remain healthier and independent longer if they only had a place that offered nutritious meals, activities to keep their minds sharp, exercise, socialization, and a maintenance free house that was not an institution. And so the idea of Wildflower Meadows was born.

Bryan Cokendolpher

Bryan is a guy who will wow anyone. For Bryan, Wildflower Meadows is a place that allows him to give back and help others. When Bryan was 18 years old, he was in a car accident that left him in a wheelchair with speech difficulties. Despite all the obstacles he faces, he wakes up every day cheerful, ready to go to work and conquer whatever life brings him. Because of his challenges, he too wanted to help build a place where people could be in community and live independently.

Wildflower Meadows is the longtime dream of Bryan and Heather Cokendolpher.  It is family owned, and laced with family history and traditions.  Bryan and Heather were both raised in the Burnet area.  They have two boys, Selleck and Fletcher.

The land Wildflower is build on was once owned by Olan and Birdie Pafford, whom Heather lovingly refers to as Mema and Paws.  Heather has many childhood memories at Mema and Paws little red brick house.  The brick house is now the Clubhouse, but Heather still calls it Mema’s house.  The original hardwood floors, the sounds of walking on peer and beam, the huge elm trees that shade the yard and Bryan's grandmother’s dining table are daily reminders that Wildflower Meadows is a true family business.  Heather often talks about the extra-large garden her grandparents always grew and the yummy meals served at Sunday lunch. This inspired the wonderful lunches served daily and the large container garden the Wildflower community planted this spring.

Heather and Bryan are very proud to call Wildflower Meadows their family business and invite you to visit and become a part of the Wildflower Meadows family.
